Italeri Mercedes Gelaende Dakar
Finally, italeri has released an interesting version of the esci G, a 1982 Paris dakar. Sure beats the stupid firetruck RoG made out of it.
http://www.italeri.it/product.aspx?item=3692S And it's piloted by Ickx, so you'll probably already have one on your way, Sennake.  I know i'm picking one up, just hope italeri's done a good job in provding details....

Huh, I hope someone could prove me wrong, but after some research (mainly on http://www.jacky-ickx-fan.net/french/photos.php?id=5 ) I found that this is not the livery for Jacky on either rally-raids.
Maybe it's a car that he drove on another rally or driven by somebody else? Eitherway, I 'm puzzled wtf this livery is all about? Olivier (who is happy with his firetrucky  )

Italeri page says "One such model, specially adapted for the occasion, won the 1982 edition of the famous Paris-Dakar race, with J. Ickx and C. Brasseur trouncing a group of seasoned competitors after a long, hard-fought race.", but i don't think that means just this Italeris model.
Anyone has original Esci model, number 3025?
