Transmission Problems?

Hey today I was just driving down the road, and all of the sudden and "check trasmission light" came on. It stayed there for like 5 seconds and went away. I the manual it says to contact the dealer if it stays on. Just wandering if it is something I should be worried about? Has this happened to anybody else?

Re: Transmission Problems?

I'm not sure what conditions set a tranny light. My first guess would be high temperature and not to worry about it.

Your call, but I'd just sit tight and keep a close eye on the behavior, sound, and feel of the tranny.

Sell it now, as quickly as you can. Trust me.
