96 sidekick erg problem
Can anybody give me any Ideas, Here is my problem:
Check engine light is on, code p0400 EGR malfuction. Took out the EGR clean it up works fine. My problem is the valve that sends vac to the EGR is not being told to come on. I checked the valve by putting 12v to it and it does work. S O M E B O D Y H E L P M E !!!!!!!!!!!

the egr system is more complex than that you may have to take more of the system apart and really clean all the pipes and port in the system.there is a posting on geo tracker forum for the p0400 erg code take a look at the posting very interseting the posting will send you to another web site where the person has a lot of insight on how the erg system works.
