I heard something on the radio tonight about the big three (3) automotive companies sales being WAY off this past quarter. Does anyone have any verifed figures on just how bad it was?

Re: Bad Automotive Sales
And, does anyone have regional sales figures for the drop in the hurricanes-affected states? With dealers and consumers wiped out, this has to be a big part of the sales drops but I can't find any info.

Chrysler Group's sales were down 3 % in October, while GM's and Ford Mo. Co.'s sales were down more. The hurricanes have affected car sales. New cars like the Corvette C6 Z06, Pontiac Solstice, Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe, and the Ford Fusion have only recently gone into production.
"The Chrysler 300 continued to maintain its staying power in the marketplace by posting sales of 12,835 units, a 23 percent increase over October 2004, and marking the 17th time in 19 months the vehicle has sold in excess of 10,000 units." - theautochannel.com October was a bad month for nearly every brand in the U.S. Porsche Cayenne sales fell 46.8 percent in October, compared with a year earlier.
