speedometer

is my 1995 gt mustang speedometer cluster operates on electric, or cable some one please help my speedometer 150mph

Crawl under the car, and look at the rear of the transmission. If there is a cable comming out of it only, then it is cable operated. If there is a cable and a pair of wires, then it is electrical, if there is only 2 wires, then it is electrical.
