OMG!? It brings tears to my eyes!

No offense, but it looks like you dropped it into the fryer or something, it looks really bad. Bubbles and spots cover the whole thing.

It's good to know that you are re-doing it and hopefully, it will look much much better.

OH so you got the spray version, huh!

Go to the automotive section and you'll see that CSC is available in big huge gallon containers that you pour.

No offence, but you noobs better watch your words...everybody makes mistake, and its not funny by making fun of people that way. And the poor guy just lost his friend...so put a sock in it. Besides...we don't welcome people flaming here.

Call me crazy but it looks somehow cool to me... i mean it won't look good when the car will be finished , but if i were doing something like an autoshop diorama or so i'll put it (the body alone) in the backyard... i'll maybe also burn the hood with a lighter a little , to pretend the engine burned and blown up...

It's a good thing you start it over btw. everyone makes mistakes , i'm sure it'll look good after you finish it...

Can u tell me the process u used to paint it - what paint did u use and where did u paint it - has it got wet with water?

Im sorry its got messed up - hopefully the csc will work - Then your baby can be shinin'

Im sure we will all help as much as possible - The only thing is that you can learn from this and perhaps change your approach next time?

Whoa! Settle down everyone!

Let's try to keep the profanity down, and just try to understand that it was a mistake. Things like saying it was painted by rocks or looking funny is all in discouragement to the modeller. I understand that sometimes we do make fun, but then we show that it was a joke and not a put-down.

Obviously, he isn't as experienced as the others that have serveral models displayed in glass cases. There are a lot of newbies in this forum, I am one for fact, and saying stuff like that is something to put them down. You have to understand that he shared his painful experiences and bad model situations with us, and to throw it back in his face is wrong. He just wanted to show us what went wrong, and asking for advice on how to fix it.

To those of you, if you think it looks funny, please try to keep it to yourselves at least. I am guessing some of the modellers here are young teens, if you discourage them, they lose sight on modelling cars.

I know that you guys wouldn't like it if I suddenly started to diss your hard work saying it sucks, because I don't. The older more experienced modellers that show sincerity to others' hard work are the kinds of people we need more of!

your altezza is not so screwed up compared to my civic that I have strip and paint like 12 times and now it is very shiny. it's not a bad thing you just have to repaint it(use primer) and it gona be a beautifull model.
