Jimi Hendrix

I like Jimi a lot not because of the drug over dose, but for his music talent. I didn't even go to any of his concerts, and I don't know how they are like. I have his debut album on cd, and it his pretty awesome. He problarly played most of his songs at the concerts he did. Is it true that he died at Woodstock? I think he died in 1970, and is that true? If you have any info that would be useful to me me plase post here!

he didnt die at woodstock. that was in 69 and he died in 70. it was an overdose, dont remember what of though. its a shame though. one of the best damn guitarists to ever grace this planet, and its really odd b/c he couldnt even read music notes. some puke at my work said he saw an article that said jimi made a deal with the devil so he could rock. :ylsuper

Jimi died in London aged 27. 27 seems to be the age to die if you're a rocker. Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, probably more..

I have about 5 CDs from Jimimi including the concert at Woodstock and the last one he did on the Isle of Wight Festival. He style is unbeatable and rocks all the time! :bandit:
