68' rewire nighmare

So check this out, completely rewiring my 68 chevelle with a painless wiring harness (which has turned out to be anything but). The part that makes it so fun is that Its been converted from points to HEI and I am converting the alternator from external volts regulator to an internal volts reg/ high output alternator. Two things are driving me nuts right now. One, I'm having a hell of a time finding my oil pressure sensor. I thought the damn thing was on my intake manifold by the distributor but no dice. Two THe shifter has been converted to a B-n-M floor shifter from the original colum before I bought it. The cool part about that is since the colum shift is now pretty much a decoration the Neutral safety/ Back up switch is now also decoration. What the hell do you guys suggest. I am kinda lost.
Thanks, Paul.

The oil pressure sender is on the side of the block, driver side.

B&M sells a neutral safety switch, should be one on the shifter already.

Thanks man. Much aprreaciated for the responce. I have yet to find the switch for the B&M Shifter but the search continues. Also, Do you have a more detailed description of where the low oil sensor is? Your description narrows the search hard core but it is still hard to find. Thanks a lot dude

Re: 68' rewire nighmare

I'm assuming that you have a big block. The oil pressure sender is located above the oil filter. Real hard to see if your looking into the engine compartment from the top. Easy to see if looking up from the underside. The exhaust manifold or headers hide the little b^*(^%*%(d.
The switch on the shifter is a little micro switch, not the stock, big button, type that's under the dash. B&M has a part number listed on their website for the switch.
Good Luck
