Torque specs
Hey, I would like to know the torque specs for the following items:
Flywheel to crankshaft bolts pressure plate to flywheel transmission housing to block transmission case adapter There's prolly more, but that's all I could think of for now, Thanks in advance

Ne1 know any torque specs, any links with the specs?... I have found some other torque specs... I just don't know what the specs for these are... btw, it's a SOHC (91, 6-bolt)

55 ft/lb Clutch Pressure Plate to Flywheel13 ft/lb Covers those two... btw, I had seen them, just forgot a/b them... thx

the other 2 torque specs are meaningless. just make sure they're snug. of course you don't want the transmission case to rattle, so make it snug. not sure what the transmission adapter case is.
all in all, torque specs are only relevant when it comes to critical parts (such as transmission internals, clutch parts +flywheel+pp, engine internals, engine head bolts, just to name a few off the top of my head). the torque spec of 10 ft-lb for a plastic panel screw or 20 ft-lb for a headlight bolt is meaningless. just make sure its snug. if you have a torque wrench and you're an engineer who is OCD, then you can torque every single bolt to its individual spec. but let's just be practical here.

granted, fair enough. but i just did my transmission not but a month ago. and it running stronger than ever (with the LSD insert of course
 ). but there's nothing to worry about as to the torque spec of the housing bolts. its like the torque of a wheel lug: make it tight.but the safe side is always the better side.
