93 Grand Am fuse problem

Last night my sister dropped a penny in the cigarette lighter and it blew the fuse to the power locks and cigarette lighter...

Its a 93 grand am 2door and I don't have the manual to tell me which fuse is which. I checked the fuse box and wasn't sure which ones/one to replace. I have searched this forum religiously to find it but to no avail so if someone has any idea of what the label would be in the fuse box that would be a great help

Welcome to the forum. If I'm not mistaken; it should be the "accesories" fuse or something to the extent. I would replace anything related to "accesories" or "dash" and you should get it.

Is there any other symptoms? By chance do your interior lights stay on or the door chime continue to chime?

You may have shorted out your chime module. Been there, done that.

It should be the power lock fuse, fuse box is located on the drivers side of the dash, its a 5 amp fuse I believe. I've done the same thing, thats why I have a splitter on the lighter and I mounted it so change can't get into it.

It should be the 2nd fuse in from the right side on the top row of fuses, its a 15amp fuse labled ctsy, its next to the airbag fuse.

If im not mistaken ctsy stands for curtosity lights, or something along those lines, if that isn't it take an ohm meter and check the resistance between the poles of the fuses (while installed with the key off) until you find the bad one, never know when you might find one burnt out that you forgot didn't work.
