on 98 accords mirrors were not folding, folding mirrors were added at 99.
you can swap, if you want to. |

Folding Mirrors
Honestly I think the previous owner replaced them for whatever reason.. As far folding mirrors starting in 99; your on crack I have a 97 Accord and mine fold, I had an 89 Accord and they too folded.. Its a safety feature.

well manual fold i guess, like when i'm parked on the street and i don't want someone to sideswipe my mirrors. i don't really need them to fold but it's pissing me off because i don't understand why the previous owner would change the damn mirrors. if they bought it with folding mirrors, they should have replaced it with folding mirrors, right???
