Electrical problem b2200 Help me for the love of god!!!!

OK here we go i just bought this 91 b2200 and i have always wanted one and finally i do. The only hang up is the running lights and dash lights as well as the seat buzzer and license plate lights dont work. I looked on the electrical diagram and it all looks like it is part of the same bundle. I have spent some time looking at connections in the dash and at the lights but im stumped. Please help me if you have suggestions. Ps the fuse blows as soon as i turn the lights on. i believe it is a short but i would love some tips or personal experience info. Thanks PPs i am new to this site so im just getting my feet wet.

The radio light is also connected to the same bundle of wires. Does it have the original radio? If not check here because the same thing happened to me when my radio was replaced.

Thank for your reply and yes i have an aftermarket stereo in the dash i didnt install it myself it was already there. I have already taken it out to see if there were any shorts but there wasnt. What was the problem with your stereo? Sometimes the stereo doesnt work too well it skips and seems to have errors occasionally. Not sure if that is relevant.

Re: Electrical problem b2200 Help me for the love of god!!!!

Drop mazdatruckin.com a post, several guys on there have electronics degrees. The only things that can cause a fuse to blow are a short to power and a bad component consuming too much current. Never seen the second one in a lighting circuit so you must have short somewhere.

I would leave a more in depth post but its late and I need to get to bed.

THanks for the tip man i appreciate it im going to check out that web site. And as for the electrical problem it has been fixed. It was related to the stereo. I bought a 99 $ pioneer deck and hooked it al up and checked the speaker connections. The stereo works choice and the lights work. La la la la ohhhh happy dayyyyy. Thank you all for your help. Im starting to get to know the truck a bit more so hopefully i will be able to pay it forward and help out the stumped as well.
