Junkyard lift?

I was looking to add a few inches (2-3) of lift to my 97rodeo w/out spending the $800 for a lift kit. If I was to replace the rear leaf springs with longer ones, and adjust the tortion bars, would this work? or would I need to add longer A-arms to the front as well?
Also anyone know of a good doner vehicle for the leafs or A-arms?

You don't need longer springs, you need shackles in the rear and you can adjust your current torsion bars. You probably should get new shocks too.

Why would everyone mention cranking the t-bars if Rodeos didn't have them???

You most definitely dont need to spend 800 for a lift. The best thing about Isuzus is that the lifts are dirt dirt dirt cheap.

My lift on my 97 was 400 dollars, including rear spring upgrades (HIGHLY reccommended over add-a-leaves), rear shackles, ball joint spacers, rear bumpstop extensions, front ultra low profile bumpstops and 4 shocks. www.darlington-offroad.com has all my components, besides shocks. I got those at 4wheelparts during a sale.
