93 astro heater problems

my heat would only work if the rpms were high,if you let rpms down air would go cold. Now no heat at all. Is it heater cre or something else?

What does heat guage show? If heat guage goes up and down also, I would suspect stuck open thermostat. I heat guage is steady I would suspect clogged heater core. Back-flushing might help then.
