2002 Dodge Durango
Just purchased a used Durango, Keyless entry remote was lost, called local dealer, can get programed replacement for $80.00. Is this a good deal? I see remotes advertised on ebay for a lot less but the description gives a couple of code #s and states you have to have a working remote to make the new one functional. Anyone know how program a new remote and how do I know which one to buy?
Does anyone have any info on the ball joint recall? How do I know if they need to be replaced? Do I have to pay for them? Thanks Z/ |

Re: 2002 Dodge Durango
If you dont have any currently working remotes, you would need a scantool (any Chrysler dealer has this) to program the remotes.
It takes like 10 seconds for them to do it, so they would most likely do it for free in the parking lot rather than having to schedule an appointment.
