Tranny Fluid

88 f-150 5.0 302. 5spd, changing clutch and slave cylinder. and cant find out what kinda of tranny fluid i need, some says that gear oil will *uck it up and some of the dexron shit will *uck it up as well.... what do i need, pleaase reply ASAP..... thanks.

Find a good sevice manual and look at the pictures.
A good online repair sub below. 24.95$ a year
It should solve all of your problems on the type of trans and what type of fluid to use.

i'd run 90 w gear oil in it and dot 3 brake fuild in the slave cylider

Just throwing 90 wt in it is not the correct way to do it.
That is a good was to ruin a trans that is not made to run 90 wt.
You need to figure out what trans it is and then use the right fluid for that trans.
