Intake Installation

When installing an aftermarket air intake filter (K&Y, Bonez, etc.) for an S5 is it a simple plug and play? No adapter needed, correct? Any information reguarding this "how to" would be much appreciated.

Ok, so let me get this straight.

Installation for an S5:
1.Remove Factory Air Filter.
2.Attach Aftermarket Cone Filter.

The end?

Nothing needs to be done w/ the AFM or the MAF?

you got it.

just use a rachet to take off the bolts on the airbox

im not too sure about the S5, but on my s4, i put a breather filter onto the air pump (unless your filter is a kit that re-routes the pipe)
