91 std motor swap ! zc or si?
ok, i know ive posted about 3 or more threads about this car, but im determined ! i was previously gonna swap in a dohc zc...bcuz i coulda got one cheap... but now, i can get a 91 si.. d16A6 with tranny, and stuff. they say they are about the same hp, and the same swap. my questions are: are they the exact same swap? and are they the same power? and zc or si? thanks !

ZC has like 20 more horsepower if you're talking about the dohc zc than the d16a6 engine. Both engines mount to the Si tranny the same.

DOHC ZC and the D16A6 are nowhere near the same HP! As said, the ZC has about 20 more HP, and one more cam! Personally id get a ZC, make sure its DOHC tho, and the second gen ZC from Japan, and not the DOHC ZC (actually a D16A1) from a USDM 86-89 Integra... Those are only 118HP vs 108 in the D16A6...
