stock bov....
Hey guys i got a question....
Is our stock blow off adjustable? If so it the black nob on the firewall - right behind the washer fluid bottle inlet? an if so - which direction does what - or what is that thing if its not the bov adjustment... i nudged it an hope it didnt screw anything up - cause i dont remember where it was set at lol thanks matt |

I can't think of the screw you are talking about off the top of my head. But no, our stock BOVs are not adjustable.

ok i found out what it is - the nob is the fuel pressure control solenoid - i think i bumped it but doing the free boost mod - but my car runs even more amazing - how do i know its set a the right setting, an is there anything i can do with that to get some more power or something?

if you increase the fuel pressure, then one would think you would increase the fuel delivered to the cylinders. Not positive on that, though. but since our cars run rich from factory settings, more fuel + same amt. of air would not increase pwr....it would only waste fuel. but does your car really 'run more amazing' ? or were you just hoping/expecting it to feel faster by turning that knob?
I didn't think you could adjust the fuel pressure on the stock cars!? i thought you had to get an aftermarket Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) to do that. i may be wrong.
