Question what do you think?

I was wondering, if i were to get a body kit for my cav should i get the front air dam (from fx designs) but use the sides and rear of a z-24 and get a fin all at once, or should I get the front and rear from fx designs (all at once) but without the wing??? what do you guys think??:licker:

yeah i'm thinking so too. thanks for the reply. do u think i should hold off completely and get the front, back and wing all together?? cuz im kinda thinking so?? the only reason why i'm wanting the kit on fast is that their is another guy driving around here with another cavalier (RS) with sweet mags and a big wing. it looks good. I just wanted to get the kit on my car as fast as possible so the guy doesn't think i'm copieing him??? (i'm one step ahead of getting my kit to looking completly non factory) get this, i was walking in this wreakers yard looking for a rad for my car when i seen this pimpe beretta, there wasn't any front or back on the car but thier were sides!! so i of course took them off matched them up to my car, guess what, they fit!! pretty sweet stuff! they aren't any factory made ones either, they are made of fiberglass with this deep groove molded into it. man these are pimped!! so now all i have to do is ask my girlfriend to try to hook me up with a deal for the front & back for my car, cuz she works at fx desings i might just get them for cheaper and sooner!!! I have another quick question before i go, do you know of any kits that i could buy for my car to lower it???

thanks again for the reply. and maybe talk to you later??

You still haven't mentioned what year model your car is. I don't know much about the cavy's outside of my generation model. I am sure it would be no problem to lower your car, as there are dozens of kits out there(no personal experience with any of them though). I think you should hold out and get the entire kit together before you put anything on. Nothing looks worse than people driving around with a half thrown together car. It looks tacky.

That's great news that you found those side skirts. So are you gonna paint them to match factory, or are you going with a custom job??

Also, what type of exhaust do you have? If you are still running a stock system(like me) then at least make sure you have dual tip exhaust. You can get one from a wrecked z24 anywhere for cheap.

Good luck!! and my AIM name is in my sig if you wanna talk about the car.(8-5)

oh i'm sorry, i have a 94 cavalier, with a 2.2l engine, and it's a 5 speed standard transmission. yeah i have to agree thrown together kits look bad, but the only thing stock would be my rear bumper...... i have a stainless steel dual tip exhaust made by APC.... it looks good. i also have a set of 15" split 5's on my car.. the reason why i have 15's is because i want to lower my car without cutting my wheel wells out!!
what about you, what do you have done to your car?? do u have any pics??? i'll get some (if my dad lets me use the digital camera) heh, yeah i'll do that tomarrow. so still asking, now that you know my year of car, do you think i can get a lowering kit???
thanx again

p.s. i don't get what the heck you were trying to tellme about your name and it being a sig???? -what-???

later

Of course there are many many kits out there available for the cavy's. I have heard good things about the Eibach (Pro Kit) Lowering Springs for a 1.0 Inch Drop. You can find tons of others out there on the net though.
As for me, I have done basically nothing for my car. (college + girlfriend = no time + no money) All I've got is a set of 15" primax rims, K&N filtercharger, custom paint (still black on silver), blacklight undercar kit(with music interface), and one hell of a bumpin system.

AIM is Aol Instant Messenger. If you had it,(or anyone else), we could chat about ideas for your car. It was just a thought.

I think it is difficult to lower the car yourself unless you have a spring compressor. I suggest taking it somewhere and have it done. It will probably cost you around $300. Plus you may have to replace the struts to make the car sit and ride correctly.

I have a 90 z-24. I'm going into my senior year in Mechanical Engineering. I have msn at home, but I'm never online at home because I'm spoiled and I want cable connections like at work and school. :smoker2:

I think that the password is case sensitive. So be sure to not have the caps lock on when signing in.
