gas mileage
So i've noticed for a month now that every time i go WOT i lose so much gas. Like everytime WOT i can see the difference from guage. I put back the sensor after i installed my exhaust. Any suggestions? Bad o2? And about my bros type-s, we WOT like 3-4 times and i mean damn i can't even see the difference from before we left the house and after we came back! He can go from 1st-4th wot and still save gas.

Re: gas mileage
If it was a bad o2 youd be running like shit all the time. How much wot do u do, 1st-4th? That will eat up some gas
And ur friend drives a typeS, its not the same as a turboed car.

Well number one...you have a turbo. So you can go through gas quicker than a naturally aspirated car, especially because of the more powerful fuel system than the type-s. The type-s's engine(stock) isn't ment to deliver large sums of gas quickly like the eclipse is. Now I could go through an 1/8 tank from one race with someone but when I had my dohc civic it would take a 3 or so runs to get anywhere close to using that much gas.

Re: gas mileage
I wouldn't really trust the guage too much.... next time you fill up, write down the mileage and run the tank down to empty or 1/8th tank... fill back up and write down the gas used to fill it back up.... divide the difference in mileage from the first fill up to the second by the number of gallons put back in and that will give you your average gas mileage...
Try that first to get a pretty accurate idea of what your mileage is.... my old car was at about 19-24mpg depending on how hard or easy I was on her.
