Premium Fuel?

I just got my 97 Maxima 5 speed about a month ago. I just noticed while filling up on gas that the little sign on the gas door "recommends" premium fuel. What does everyone put into their Maximas? If I use regular will there be a noticeable loss in performance?

Almost everyone has a different opinion on this one. I personally put premium in all of my cars. I take care of them religiously and they only get the best. As far as performance goes, I have only seen one actual study a while back which was online. They claim that using regular as opposed to premium will cost you .5 seconds or so on your 0-60 time. They also claim that using premium will gain you approx. 1-2 mpg's. If I find the site I will post it.

Interesting... I'll fill it up with premium next time and see what happens. Thanx for your help.
