Finding a good mechanic

There is a simple, almost guaranteed way to find a qualified, reputable mechanic or repair shop to work on your vehicle. Simply ask the people who work in the local auto parts stores. They will know all the mechanics in the area, they will be familiar with what mechanic is best in certain areas, such as electrical.

I've been selling auto parts for twelve years, so I know which mechanics are the best in my hometown, and who shouldn't be allowed under the hood of a car.

I don't really expect any replies to this. I'm simply throwing it out there for the sake of informing others.
