Good first car?

What is a good first car i will be turning 16 soon and need a good first car for under $10,000. It has to be automatic. I was thinking like a 2001 pontiac grand prix or mitsubishi eclipse?

You wont find an MR2 in decent condition for under $10k - not happening.

RX-7's are high maintenance due to the rotary engine - not a good first car.

Integra GSR/LS would make a good first car.

Re: Good first car?

does checking oil and adding as needed qualify as high maintance?
Unless he gets a junker I dont see how simply having a rotary makes a car less reliable if it has been well taken care of.
N/A rotaries can last quite long if you take care of them.

Every MR2 I've seen for sale with low/high miles has always been listed for $9k+. And FYI I'm talking about the 1990-up body style MR2's, not the 1989 style.

And... I can give a shitless if you disagree with me.
