92 Seville STS Dash Display Out

Anti theft wire in the stearing column went bad and had a locksmith come fix it. The next morning on my way to work the dash went out, no lights, no digital display. I'm trying to figure out what he might have done to make this happen. The buttons on the dash still seem to work as far as I can tell. When I up the air it goes up, when I turn the air off it goes off. Just can't see the temp, or the odometer, or and of the service warnings. Any ideas?

Hi guys I have a 92 sts that i just replaced the fuel pump a week ago and now the car is still spitting and sputtering black smoke and would not stay running. when i tur on the ignition i can hear the pump engage but it would not stay running anyway.

hey I have a 94 Cadillac sts and well I was installing the a new stereo which is very dificult but then when I finally put it all back together and started the car all digital display was lost but when I turn air up it goes up and also down but the speedometer doesn't work or the tacometer and the fuel guage seems to be stuck at where it was. so I checked the fuse box in the back and noticed some blown fuses then replaced them lots of things are working again but the dash still doesn't work so I also noticed quite a bit of corosion so I replaced all of those and now it seems to be working so just check all of your fuses make sure they are the right size and make sure u have all of them it should work.
