Ignition Coil Troubles
The ignition coil on my '91 civic lx went out so I replaced the coil, cap and rotor. After only one day the new ignition coil when out. AutoZone replaced the ignition coil for me but I'm wondering why it gave out so quickly. Is there something else that could be wrong with the car thats making the coil go, or was it just a bunk coil to begin with?

Re: Ignition Coil Troubles
the same thing happend to me. i bought a new coil and installed it then drove for about a mile and i had no spark again. i looked at the coil and it wasnt all burn like the last one so i just changed the ignitor and i havnt had a problem since. so im thinking it was the ignitor that caused the coil to burn up.
