Aerostar Problems, check this story out
Hi i am new to forums i have been reading all your peoples problems with your aerostars and i just want to let you all know that i have a 87 aerostar with over 200,000 original miles on the engine and trans and it is still going strong today. It is rusty as hell .lol but i cannot kil it i use it mosty for work now. so if you folks like to know how to make your trans , engine, Diff last drop me a line ok [email][email protected]

Well I have 371,000 on my 96. Did a rebuilt on the tranny @200k but that's it. Runs great but the front end is noe real loose. Not worth repairing. Sad but still good for someone driving local.
