1991 pontiac grand prix stalls and dies

1991 pontiac grand prix; The first drive of the day is normal and the car will run forever. Let the car set for 1 hour or so, after the first drive, the car will die wihin a few miles and at any speed. The tach slams down to zero, it is not a gradual desent to zero. The car will restart after 3 or 4 attempts and a wait of about 5 minutes or so. It then runs rough and dies again several times before it smoothes out enough to drive. Replaced the fuel filter, altermnator, crank sensor, crank sensor wiring harness, ecm,(with prom), checked fuel pressure, inspecter all wiring.
This car has been to the dealership, and to a highly recomended local shop. Still not fixed.....help...!!
