gauge cluster blackout

the guage cluster of my b2500 has no lighting ,I checked the fuses , replaced all the bulbs but still it has no light....

I had this problem and replaced the dimmer switch. the little wheel thingy on the left of the cluster, to the left of the wheel.

it was a piece of cake once I found the part at the boneyard. four screws to take the front of the dash off (basically a square piece). the dimmer switch is screwed into that, and attached by a plug/wire harness clip with wires. you just unclip the old one, unscrew it, screw in the new one, clip the wire plug back in, put yer dash back together and drink a cold one for a job well done.
