Factory Fitted Options

Aside from resprays and interior retrimming ... what factory fitted options have been conducted on road F1's, i.e. GTR steering racks (mentioned recently re: 040 with the fugly gold wheels!), LM engines, in car intercom systems, etc.

Re: Factory Fitted Options

At least 2 cars have upgraded engines. I mean the whole shebang, not just better exhausts. GPS and phones were offered, the HD Kit of course, intercom systems (the Ojjeh brothers had intercom from CAR TO CAR!). McLaren will pretty much do whatever you want if they can do it (and i assume you'd have to supply the funds for any additional research)

Re: Factory Fitted Options

i think, if you had the money and the vision, you could have pretty much whatever you wanted.....

Nick Mason had a reversing camera added to his GTR.....

Erik might be able to answer this one - did any road-going F1's have the 'bubble lights' seen on some GTR's added? that might have been a cool addition.
