E-Brake Light while Sharp Turning

Okay so I have a 88 Si 4WS Honda Prelude. And when ever I am going fast and turning, not necesarilly even screeching my tires the E-Brake Light comes on and then when I straigthen out it goes off.\

Any ideas? Is this something to even worry about?

If my E-Brake does die will the car be able to hold it self still with 1'st gear?

I'm not sure, mabe one of the moving parts is bumping something causing a sensor to be triggered. If it doesnt affect anything then I wouldnt worry about it.

Well I don't feel it slow down the car, and the back wheels definityly arn't locking so if it is engaging its very lightly; but Im still a little concerned that it will slowly die over a year or so. Of couse Im leaving for school and Im not taking the car in like 3 months, so if it can last a little longer thats all I need.
