Re: cat question

there is a resistor clip thing that you have to get. The first 02 sensor won't care, but the second one will notice that there isn't a change in emissions so it will kick a code, which might make your car run like shit.

Why are you takin the cat of in the first place??

Re: cat question

well unless you have other things done i.e. Intake, header, exhaust, cams........etc, it won't really do anything

you are right
hondas 3 way cats flow awesome unless your going insane N/A *i've seen 225WHP N/A running cats fine* or turbo I see no reason to touch your cat.

If your cat is dead replace it with a smog legal and highflow like I have cheaper then honda and it "flows better" look into catco random tech etc.

man if i had know it sooner i would have save a few bucks, any ways i dont know if the one i installed is smoke legal cause theres no smoke restriction down here, but its supose to be beter than the original. and one thing i noticed is that the original cat has two scren inside, one on the begining and the other at the end, and that has to restric the flow a little. any way its already done so i gues il have to live with it. thanx to all for caring.

I know you said it is already done, but as Ace already said our cats are pretty efficient at doing what they do without losing power. I have a custom 2.5" straight pipe in place of my cat and the only difference is I can hear the VTEC engage more now than before. no real power increase. I felt a much bigger increase when I ditched my power steering and A/C.
