lift it up, slide it on, bolt it together including the motor mount, hook up shift linkage; starter; wiring harness; speedo cable, install drive shafts. done.

Re: install tranny

take off drive shafts, speedo cable, wiring harness, starter, shift linkage, unbolt tranny mounts and tranny bolts, seperate from engine block and drop down. THEN lift it up, slide it on, bolt it together including the motor mounts, hook up shift linkage; starter; wiring harness; speedo cable, install drive shafts. done.

Re: install tranny

well first off do you have a B series motor or are you asking if you can just put a B series tranny on a D series motor?

apply it to a cable tranny if you have cable. all bseries trannies are 97% identical. if you cant figure the differences, then, take it to a shop.

When I had some trouble with my clutch I just pulled the engine again. It was really really tight to get the tranny off with it in the car. It prob took less than an hour to get it out ad because you've already put it in once, putting it back in is no trouble either.

Re: install tranny

if you were mechanically inclined then you wouldnt be asking this question.

for example i like to think of myself as being mechanically inclined but i didnt ask anybody what needs to be done when i did my first ls swap

so i'm guessing what you want is somebody to show you some detailed pictures and instructions on how to specifically swap your transmission?
read up on it, thats the only way your going to find information on the internet. utilize your search engines like google if you need to. sorry i can't spend time to chart out your workload, but i hope you'll figure it out eventually.
