buick lesabre 1997 fuel filter??

My check engine light came on and was running very rough I had the codes read.It said multiple cylinder failure replaced wires, plugs and coil packs then the car died all together.I bled the fuel line and air came out for a good 5 seconds ,after that the car started and ran good for a while and now its starting it all over again. What is your advice ...I thought maybe a fuel filter....please help

I'd really consider changing the fuel filter and/ or having the injectors cleaned
Also the dying out could be a restricted PCV, for less than 3 bucks you can't go wrong!
