noise in cab
I am having noise inside the cab that sounds like it is comng from the passenger side near the dash or inside the dash or in that general area. Sounds like a piece of plastic hitting against something. I have a 95 Jimmy. Does anybody else have the same thing going on? Buddy of mine just recently bought a 95 jimmy and has the same noise. We are trying to figure out where it is coming from. Any help would be greatful.
Thanks Auk |

Re: noise in cab
there are some problems with hood hinge bolts//they would cause all sorts of noise-when does this noise occur? over bumps? can you duplicate it while stopped and bounce vehicle?

Re: noise in cab
also, check your plastic hood cowl for cracks or splits or the foam insulator breaking free at the ends of the cowl ...

Also look if your passenger door is sagging (hinge and bushings) If so when you hit bumpes the bushings can sound like the hood issue...
