new radio

i got me a new alpine radio and i had a heck of a time getting installed. i really didnt have a problem til i started putting everything back together. first the radio itself was too long so there wasnt enough clearance. then when i tried to put the faceplate back on, it wouldnt fit under the radio so i had to cut the whole bottom of it off. then i couldnt get it to fit flush so i had to cut the corner off of the plastic piece that goes around the radio. . but i finally got it to fit and it sounds completely AWESOME.

with a little patience and finesse you coulda made it fit without cutting anything.

a couple weeks ago i was helping my cousin put a new cd player in his 99 camaro and it was too long also so we took a dremel and was cutting out pieces of plastic and it caught on fire....was pretty funny!

well, everything that i cut is pretty much covered up. i didnt really want to cut it but i couldnt see any other way to make it fit.

we cut out plastic clips back in the back that was there to brace the factory cd player in his
