no spark on 96 grand caravan

This is a 96 GC 3.3L FWD. I borrowed a scanner and a scope to get the info I have so far.

Crank and Cam sensors are good. No signal getting to the coil pack. When monitoring engine with scanning tool, I can connect initially and see data (coolant temp, RPM, etc). As soon as I engage the starter and start cranking, I loose communication with the PCM and cannot reconnect without a power cycle. Either the computer is locking up or something it cutting power to it until I key off then back on.

Any ideas? PCM? power distribution (auto shutoff relay)? I don't really want to replace the computer until I rule out other possibilities. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I haven't been able to locate a wiring diagram, but I did locate the power and ground to the PCM. I am not losing power during cranking. I does go down to about 10V during cranking, but I suppose this is to be expected.

If the cam and the crank signal are good, is there anything besides a bad computer that would prevent a signal to be sent to the coil pack?

Re: no spark on 96 crand caravan

Sounds like the computer is bad especially since you can't get the scanner to reconnect to the computer after you start it. This would also account for the signal not going to the coils if the cps and cam sensor are good.
