I'm trying to change my clutch in a 1999 s-10, 2.2l/4cyl, 2wd. I've already run into a problem with it, I can't disconnect the hydraulic line from the slave drive. Anyone got any eperience with this that could help me out? Thanks a ton.

Re: 1999 s-10 clutch problem
Shouldn't be too hard, just get a flash light and look closely
I don't have how to remove the hose on my web page, but I have the general procedure shown there http://mypage.uniserve.com/%7Ekvsbt/tips/clutch.html |

Hey, did you find out how to remove the slave line? We are doing that procedure now and are stuck at the same spot....

on 98+ s-10 5 spd's , there is no slave cylinder , its a hydrolic throw out bearing , that said , the line goes directly into the bell housing , but you can see a little fitting on the line before it goes into it , there should be a sleeve around this fitting , push the sleeve into the fitting and the line should pop out, well , not pop out , but should be able to be pulled out with a little effort , try not to break it , lol
