I have Eibach Sportline. They are great. Almost no tire/fender gap. I've been riding on stock shocks for the past year and still rides great.

If you an adjustable spring height "coilover", I give the nod to ground control. I have heard that the weapon R will sometimes seize, preventing you from adjusting the height (I HAVE HEARD). As for threaded shock/spring type deals, stick with the major players. Japanese brands will ride a lil more stiff, because apparently they like em stiff over there. And whatever you do, DO NOT get those crappy arospeed/obx/adr/bs brand coils because they are MUCH CHEAPER. Once again, this is one of those things where you pay for what you get. If you suspension is a piece, you can make all the power you want and go nowhere. If your suspension is sweet, you will use all the power you can make. Don't skimp on it.

W/e bro. have you actually tried Arospeed, R1, etc coilovers or riden in a car that has them? Probably not. And you dont get what you pay for. Ground Controls are bouncy as hell and blow ass in my opinion so i guess you dont get what you pay for. You can go out and buy cheap ones that are just as good and pay way less.:finger4:

That's alot of anger for my opinion. I did know someone who did not like his arospeed springs, or his OBX header. I used to sell these type of parts, and if you knew how much they costed them to make you would be suprised. Just from what I have seen and heard, I hear less complaints from people who shell out more money for their suspensions than vice versa. I'm glad you like your suspension: I was just stating a point that seems to be a generalized consensus.
BTW, what type of damping were used with the Ground Controls? Maurice |
