Driver's Side Power Window

First of all, I have searched this forum extensively for my symptoms of a malfunctioning DS power window. Only a few described a "clicking" noise when pressing the button. That is what I am hearing. A distinct three clicks when pressing the button up or down. This particular type of switch will lower the window with a single tap.

Specs:
1996 Windstar GL 3.8l

The window is up. When the problem would occur, it would be in this position. It started happening occasionally, but now, it quit altogether.

OK, now the question.

What is clicking? Relay or switch itself? I can't tell.

Re: Driver's Side Power Window

Test to see if you are getting power to the window motor. Make sure all the connections are good, that they haven't vibrated loose or are coroded.
It is not uncommon for the window motors to fail.
