Did yiu have tranny completly flushed. Not just drained. I had this with a 2001. it had been services but they did not drain and flush the converter.. Ford did this and no more trouble.

Is it serious? Can I leave it there until the next flush? Thanks a lot!

Have you checked your motor mounts? The 3.8 has a mount right under the oil filter and it gets driped on and the rubber gets bad. (good placement Ford!) I'm thinking the you many feel the engine moving because of the faster idle at start up. The change of directions (going from R to D) may be smoother because of the slower idle after warm up.

Regards

Dan
