Welcome to the forum. Have you changed your fuel filter? Checked plugs, wires, coil packs, TPS, ect?

Re: Don't start...

Have you tried to gas it slightly when you try to ignition? Also, think it could be the IAC motor on the throttle body? Ridenour or Xeno 'should' be able to help you out...

Re: Don't start...

Could be a bad oil pressure sending unit. It has a fuel pump kill feature built in that shuts off fuel when no oil pressure is sensed. It is bypassed during cranking, so the car will crank over, start, then stall.

Re: Don't start...

Hey I had that same problem with my 01 Grand Am and it was a securtiy issue. Someone on here told me to turn your key to the on position and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Then go and turn the key off, let it sit for a minute, then try starting it up. It worked on my car, try it on yours.

Re: Don't start...

Well, I did try to reset it. I turned the key on "on" for 20 minutes to make sure it was long enough, the security light was still on. Then shut it off for 2 minutes.

Question though?? Is the security light suppose to be flashing when the security is tripped, cause my gf car is the same and it on too when I have the key on "on".....
