2000 Winstar Power Doors
Hello,
Both power sliding doors on my 2000 Winstar are occasionaly acting up (not fully closing, opening back up, etc). If this gets worse I will take it to the dealer, but I was wondering it anyone knows the procedure to disable the motor mechanism and allow yourself to close these maually and lock the car. I would hate to be wrestling with this in the parking lot while my train pulls away. Thanks!

It probably varies with different trim levels, but if I turn off the switch on the overhead console ('99 SEL) ... the doors work pretty well as (free-wheeling) manual doors.
