theftlock
2000 grand am cd player & stereo locked out due to battery being ran low dont have the code to unlock it, any suggestions on how to reset the stereo?

Welcome harrelsonsteve. You'll probley hav to go to the dealershits, or just buy an aftermarket stereo. I hav had the same trouble once(removed the radio with out disabling the theftlock).
Took it to the stealership, they sent it away to be repaired, and in a couple weeks I got one back, not the one I had sent, but one that looked a lot newer and it worked better. The theftlock sucks! I would suggest having it turned off, seems more trouble than its worth to hav it enabled. Good Luck
