RPM in OD

RPM in overdrive at 65 MPH?

I have a 98 Taurus with an overdrive transmission. What RPM should I be getting at 65 MPH?

6 cyl 3 litre

probably around 3000 rpm.

No, i'd say you should be between 2000 and 2500. If you are running at 3000 RPM at 65mph, you are not in OD.
