Whats up with this camaro?????

I was at the gas station today, and this guy had a BEAUTIFUL camaro. brand new paint black with two red stripes down the middle, but this post is about his engine. So.. ok im pumpin gas and he pulls out. His engine sounds like nothin ive ever heard. Deafening sound. I mean everybody at the station turned and looked at him. The only way i can describe it is like.... the sound of a Harley-Davidson mixed with the sound of a TVR speed 12 from Gran Turismo 2. Never heard a Maro sound like that.Nebody know what I'm talkin about? What kinda mods can give u a sound like that?

Re: Whats up with this camaro?????

Bored stroked cammed + long tubes or no muffler system at all will give you that loudness with a LT1/LS1/350csb

Re: Whats up with this camaro?????

It could be anything. He probably dropped a huge motor in it.

Re: Whats up with this camaro?????

Open headers man.. that's the way to go. Either that or he ran true duals and just dumped the exhaust right before the axel.

Re: Whats up with this camaro?????

Yeah its probably header dumps and a heavy cam. Theres a guy who goes to the local hang out and he just has long tubes coming off of his motor in his 3rdgen. And hes got a BIG ^BIG^! cam. It sounds sick! much to loud for street use. He said he hasnt had time to find someone to put pipes on it because noone will do it because hes got no cats. Either that or they wanna charge him a huge amount of money.

Re: Whats up with this camaro?????

Thatw as insane, the torque just made the car jump forward. So that's what they mean twist like a pretzel Oo. The funny thing is it looks so normal, i can't imagine seeing that on the road.
