Splash Guard Removal
The plastic shower-curtain-like panels that protect the engine from mud and wet, that you see in the back of the wheel well when you remove a front wheel. The panels are attached with plastic snaps through holes in the body. To remove the panels, at least partially, do I just yank on a snap, or is that just asking for a torn panel that won't go back in place properly?
Anybody have experience with this? Thanks, Sean in Michigan

Yep, you have to pop out those one-way plastic push plugs/rivets/fastners (whatever you call'em). There are fork type tools avail to pop out the plugs easily. New plugs can be had almost any place that has a nuts/bolts/fastener dept.
