Hood wont open???

ok ...............well something is wrong with cable to my hood.........the cable is not very tight it just pulls very easily... and i can hear in the hood that the cable is trying to pop it but nothing happens.........is there any other way to open my hood ...or to get the cable to open it.....thanks for the help

stick your hand in between the bumper and pull the cable.

have a friend push down on the hood while you pull the release lever.

i tried that and it still didnt work, it was still loose........... i will try to pull the cable from the front bumper and i will get back to u on that....thanks again

well i just took the bumper off and the cable had come loose sooo it works now..thanks for the help
