Yeah, you're right. This is why I'm thinking about going for the 4X4 convertable look. Tell me what you think!!!

I've got that beat. I used live in Denver and I once saw 2 guys sitting at the carwash "showing off" their brand new trucks. One was a brand new Z-71 and the other was a new Dodge Ram duelly. Both of them had been lowered to the point where the undercarriage was within .5 inches of the ground and they both had those ridiculous looking gold daytons that were super popular around '94ish timeframe. I couldn't believe it! It took all my will power not to pull over and beat them both to within an inch of their lives.

4X4 convertable look. looks good, wonder if he made the top so it can be replaced in case of rain.

I was thinking of doing that with my old truck. just for something differnt.

around here the in thing is to change all the crome for gold plating. then add hydrolics and drive around with the truck looking like it has a broken spring.

I wonder if it would be a hard-top convertiable. That would be somewhat sweet, but it's a 4x4 people. If you want to pimp one out get a damn 1500 reg, sport side.or fleet side doesn't really matter. However it is their money i guess, even though their probably retarded.

Well, the old blazers and broncos had removable hard tops... and jeeps either have a removable hard or soft top, depending on what you get. Does that count?

There is a 2006 Ford F-350 4x4 Powerstroke "Amarillo" edition (bright yellow) here, still on the dealer lot that has a 6" lift with 22's and tires so thin you mistake them for paint on the rims. Does it look "cool" Ahh, maybe, but is it functional...NO. A good way to spend 60K and look rediculous.

the rule is:

if its a 4x4 it goes up in the air

if its 2 wheel drive lower it or keepit the same

My friends brothers girlfriend bought his brother an 02 Z-71 with 22" rims on it with a dvd player and a couple t.v.'s. To me this is pointless, if im gonna buy upgrades its to make it haul ass and handle better. If the stock stereo system works im happy, i dont need t.v.'s in it, since im pretty sure watching a movie and driving at the same time maybe, JUST MAYBE, be a bad thing. It's a 4x4 so i told him it was stupid, i dont even like 22's on 2 wheel drive biggest id go are 20's off of an SS silverado, i wouldnt buy any other ones. 18" is the biggest id go for an aftermarket. Ok im done.

Re: Some One Explain Their Thinking

The other day I was stuck in traffic behind this idiot that lowered his tuck to within 2 inches of the ground and put those nasty fiberglass things riceburners have added to 'em. You could hear me laughing two blocks away when he tried to go over a speed bump, he tore up all of the fancy fierglass to bits!

Hehe, yeah, but I want to get an overhead DVD/monitor combo, and keep a porn dvd running all the time. I wouldn't ever be able to see it, but I read somewhere that a guy had done this and people called the cops on him. The cops said they couldn't do anything to him, because it was in his private property, and it would be like you watching porn in your living room and someone looking through your window, seeing it, and calling the cops on that. I'd do it just to piss off all the prudes in my area.

It wasn't a local guy... it was something on some national new show.

Re: Some One Explain Their Thinking

Ya know. I kinda like the way 20's look on a 4x4, ONLY if they're done right, and they are a rim design thats suited to the 4x4 world and not some damn bling bling ones.
