resetting cel
I have a 2000 mpv ls. The engine light comes on sometimes for no reason that I can tell. I reset it by disconnecting a battery cable. I am wondering if there is a way to reset it without disconnecting the bat. and losing all my radio presets. Also, it takes a few seconds longer to start the mpv after disconnected bat.

Leave the battery hooked up. You may blow it's mind unhooking it plus a 1000$ worth of PCM.
Get a scanner on it and read codes to find out why the light is comming on. The only safe way to clear the light is with a scanner. Post back code no. MT
